How to set up your mail client
(Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.)

To check your mail
account setup, Click on Tools in
Outlook Express and scroll down to Accounts...
Click
Accounts... |

Under the Mail Tab,
Highlight the mail account you wish to edit. Click
on the Properties button.
To Add a new
account like a hotmail account or any other POP3
account click the Add button. |

To check your mail
account setup, Click on Tools in
Outlook Express and scroll down to Accounts...
Click
Accounts... |
|
The General Tab lists
the Name and Organization that is included in your
email. The Mail Account is just the
name that shows up on the previous screen capture.
Note: Checking Include this
account when receiving mail or synchronizing
will make outlook check this account as well as any
other account you have set.

The Servers Tab lists the server
information for this email account. Set
Incoming mail (POP3) and Outgoing mail
(SMTP) servers to
mail.yourdomain.com
Fill in the Incoming Mail
Server information with your account name
and password.
By clicking on the Remeber
password checkbox, Outlook Express will not prompt
for a password everytime it checks for new mail.
It is very important to
check the "My Server requires authentication"
checkbox. Otherwise you will not be able to send
emails using this account. |
